Underground Racing built this Twin Turbo Gallardo to go one mile racing. It was making just shy of 2000rwhp. At the Texas Mile, on October 23rd, 2010, they were attempting to set a new record. The driver went through the traps at just under 240mph. When he pulled the chute, the back of the car got loose causing the car to exit the track to the right….

Sometimes its good to know left from right, like in a rally car. Portuguese driver Pedro Peres got a bit confused.

In my opinion Rallying is the most exciting form of motorsport. It is however better to see where you are going.

Jetman Yves Rossy failed to make it to Europe from Africa, plunging into the sea halfway to Spain.

The 50-year-old former fighter pilot, who has already soared single-handed over the Swiss Alps and the English Channel, attempted to cover the distance of 23 miles (28km) across the strait of Gibraltar, with a bright red homemade wing spanning 2.5 meters (8ft) strapped to his back, powered by four kerosene-fueled jet engines.
