Shot just south of Paris, France in Linas at l’Autodrome de Linas –Montlhéry, this 1.58 mile oval track, built in 1924, features banks as steep as 51 degrees, which is more than double the standard incline of most NASCAR ovals. Chosen by Ken for this specific reason, the ramp-like banking proved to be a unique and exciting challenge. The driving physics for the stunts performed were totally unknown until Ken attempted the maneuvers during filming.

The 2010 Word Rally Championship (WRC) looks to be shaping up nicely. While Sebastien Leob and Mikko Hirvonen continue their battle from 2009, Peter Solberg looks like he will have a Citreon C4. While former Formula 1 racing champion arrives in a Red Bull backed Citreon C4 as well.

This week Ken Block announced that he would be driving a Ford Focus World Rally Car backed by Monster enery drinks.

So we have Ford versus Citreon, Redbull versus Monster. Sounds good!

And to make things sweeter, Ken Block is working on a Fiesta to make Gymkhana 3!

Ken Block took James May out for Gymkhana-style driving at Ken’s spectacular stunt course (a vacated California airport.) This sequence was filmed and edited to substantially higher quality than previous videos made famous on popular internet streaming-video websites due to Top Gear involvement.
