Cara, tell us about yourself?

I’m a pro glamour model from the countryside of Galway, Ireland. I started fashion modelling when I was about 16.

I have always been really artistic since I was a child with sketching and sculpture and I think that’s why modelling and creating photographic art was the next step for me. NowI mainly model glamour style but I like doing fashion too. Fashion was what I started off with but there is something about glamour modelling that makes me feel so alive.You have more freedom you’re not just modelling an outfit or handbag and making them look good, with glamour you’re modelling, your body, your emotion. Its more real.

Very Deep!

I also like the way glamour models promote a more satisfactory body image. They have curves and like to show them off. Its all about feeling sexy and delivering an image that takes your breath away.

And what makes you feel sexy?

Many things. I love getting dressed up for a night out and wearing clothes that hug my figure. I feel sexy in high heels and of course modelling lingerie makes me feel sexy. My favourite type of lingerie would probably be the classic stockings and garter belt. Anything silky to the touch is good too!

You must be pretty confident with your body?

Well yea  I have been told best part of my body  is my eyes but I know I am also super lucky to have a toned stomach. I don’t think I would pose nude. Don’t you guys like a little mystery?

So Jenny how does teaching and modeling fit together?

I teach science and maths. I love it. Variety the spice of life. My week is hectic juggling everything acting, modeling, teaching, but it’s worth it, it never gets dull!

How did the modeling start?

I started when I was in UCD studying zoology. I worked for a small agency.

A couple years ago I decided I would just go for it, why not! I joined a new modeling agency; started taking proper acting lessons; then I bought a ticket for LA.

Cool, stateside must have been fun?

LA & Hollywood is a whole other world, a whole lotta craziness & a lot of modeling work there, again once you get a chance to talk to the people in the business. I have just returned from there, after three months of the most amazing time. I got to go to the playboy Mansion.  It is everything you imagine and more.

Tell us more?

It is a very happy, fun, beautiful, colourful place filled with amazing people from different walks of life that ordinarily you would never get the chance to talk to. I had a drink with Simon Cowell at the bar for instance at one party and sat beside Jamie Fox at a dinner table at another. Now this never happens in normal circumstance. So it is pretty special!

RTE’s Fade Street reality show will see contestants compete to become a tattoo artist’s apprentice under the eye of John Connolly, manager of the Tattoo Studio in Cows Lane on Temple Bar.

Hannah Flattery is a 23 year old swimsuit and lingerie model who is a huge fan of LateForMass… just our type!

So Hannah tell us about yourself?

I am  from Co Kildare, but I came over to LA last summer when I finished college, it was meant to be just for the summer, but then I ended up doing a lot of modelling work and so decided to come back over.

How did the modelling start?

I started off when I was still in college, I did one photo shoot and realised I really liked it so from then on I wanted to do more and more.

Great for us! You are not shy about showing off your body in skimpy clothing then?

When I think back to my very first shoot I can remember definitely being nervous.But I have done so much lingerie and swimsuit modelling by now that it has become second nature!

Whats the craic like over in L.A then?

I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else right now. I am modelling full time here, doing a lot of music videos, print work, fashion shows, promotions, anything that comes my way really! It can be hard to get ahead as there is a lot of competition but I am loving it, the lifestyle here is amazing.

In the agency the girls also do alot of staged shows including Coyote Bar Show, Circus Freak Show ans a 70s themed Show and tour them around Ireland and  appear in Toys for Big Boys, Modifed Motors Stage Shows and Masters of Dirt Malta.

One of Irelands leading models Jenny-Lee Masterson presents Fashion Rocks in aid of Irish Autism Action and The Haiti appeal at The Wright Venue, Swords, January 31^st at 8pm.

Ireland’s leading models will take to the runway in 70′s rock inspired fashion to coincide with classic 70′s rock music played by red hot live act Diablo.
