Underground Racing built this Twin Turbo Gallardo to go one mile racing. It was making just shy of 2000rwhp. At the Texas Mile, on October 23rd, 2010, they were attempting to set a new record. The driver went through the traps at just under 240mph. When he pulled the chute, the back of the car got loose causing the car to exit the track to the right….

Lamborghini race team and motorsports development company Reiter Engineering has taken their Lamborghini Gallardo Strada on a ski trip for a promotional video.

Following a little playing around at the base of the intermediate ski slope, the GT3 race class inspired Gallardo zooms up the hill at impressive speed thanks to special spiked winter tires.

This is a Highlight Trailer of the Lamborghini Blancpain Race #2 at the Norisring in Germany. The Norisring, located in the city of Nurenberg, is one of the most dangerous racetracks since it features absolutely no safety zones, 4 different kinds of surface and a stunning top speed of up to 270 km/h on the start/finish straight.

Valentino Balboni is the former chief test driver of Lamborghini. He retired in 2009 due to Italian government work regulations, after having served the company for 40 years. To pay tribute to him in occasion of his retirement, Lamborghini has labeled the latest addition to the Gallardo line-up, the LP550-2 Valentino Balboni.
